Happy Mother's Day! I hope all you moms are enjoying a wonderful day with your family! Mother's Day is a great chance to not only celebrate your family (and have them celebrate you), but it's also to celebrate the mom friends who make this crazy parenting adventure easier and more fun. Sometimes there's nothing more rejuvenating than some time with other ladies who understand, laugh, cry, and support you! Subscriptions are on sale now for the William N. Skirball Writers Center Stage Series, presented by the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation and its academic partner Case Western Reserve University. Find out which writers will appear in the series, which returns for its 14th season in September.

Lake Ridge Academy junior Anjali Prabhakaran, a resident of Avon, has scored a perfect ACT composite score of 36. This is quite a feat, as on average, less than 1/10 of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a perfect score. Learn more about her academic and extracurricular activities, as well as her future plans.

In pediatric neuropsychology, children are evaluated using standardized tests that might include communication skills, visual functioning, or paper and pencil work. A child’s thinking, attention and organization skills, memory and learning, speech/language, visual-spatial skill, academic development, and emotional/behavioral functioning may all be assessed.

Spring not only brings nice weather, leaves on the trees, and flowers — it also reminds us that another school year is coming to an end.
