Ohio Sales Tax Holiday Aug. 7-9 for Back to School Shopping

Parents awaiting back-to-school shopping can celebrate the “Ohio Sales Tax Holiday.” The tax holiday is the result of legislation passed last year that exempts consumers making purchases in Ohio from paying state and local sales tax on all clothing and footwear up to $75 per item, as well as school supplies and instructional materials up to $20 per item. It covers all retailers, both online and brick and mortar, that sell these goods to Ohio residents. Check out the list of eligible items your family can purchase.
